About the role
- The Staff Product Manager for Agentic Commerce will own the vision and execution of products that redefine online commerce through automation and AI.
- The role involves building new API primitives and dashboard surfaces to enable AI agents to interact with Stripe's ecosystem of sellers.
- You will collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and marketing to simplify financial and e-commerce complexity for agent-powered experiences.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product roadmap for agentic commerce solutions, including automated merchant tools and intelligent purchasing workflows.
- Build full stack solutions across Stripe's ecosystem, including back end services, dashboard interfaces, and money movement systems.
- Partner with engineering and design to ship features that increase user autonomy and reduce friction.
- Utilize analytical skills to dive into data, test hypotheses, and make informed trade-offs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Stripe’s platform and product teams to integrate agentic commerce capabilities.
- Engage directly with large enterprise users to understand business needs and translate them into product requirements.
Requirements
- 12+ years of Product Management experience.
- Computer Science background or equivalent technical experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading initiatives across large engineering organizations spanning multiple teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to structure ambiguous concepts from first principles.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving different functions and stakeholders.
- Deep empathy for users balancing autonomy and guidance in digital commerce experiences.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience building APIs or new integration experiences for users.
- Experience using social media to interact directly with customers for feedback.
- Experience founding a business or startup, taking a product from 0-1.
- Experience in eCommerce.
