About the role
- The System Administrator will build and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure system performance, security, and compliance.
- This role involves mentoring junior administrators, developing strategic IT initiatives, and driving continuous improvement in IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Server installation, configuration, and maintenance on Azure, Virtualization & Operating Systems.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for Endpoint OS & Hardware.
- Endpoint Device Management (Entra/Jamf Admin) and Group policy deployment.
- Develop automation / leveraging AI to streamline tasks.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical systems.
- Administer Microsoft 365 (M365) services, Defender, DLP, Purview and manage enterprise software licenses.
- Push patches, upgrades, drivers and software to endpoints.
- Configure & support networks (Aruba, Cisco, Ruckus), Wi-Fi and authentication issues.
- Support Firewall & manage VPNs.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for projects, identify issues, and update playbooks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience in Active Directory, Azure & M365.
- Hands-on experience in Aruba, SIEM, Palo Alto Global Protect, Firewall.
- Proficient in M365 and network administration tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting, excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of security best practices and protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage technical projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
