About the role
- Deepgram is expanding its enablement function by hiring its first Technical GTM Enablement Manager.
- This role acts as a force multiplier for the technical side of the revenue organization, owning how pre-sales and post-sales technical teams ramp, stay current, and prove readiness.
- The position sits at the intersection of Product, Applied Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales.
Responsibilities
- Own onboarding and ramp for technical GTM roles, designing and continuously improving a structured program that gets new hires to productivity faster and creating a consistent technical standard across teams.
- Build technical field framework and playbooks, including technical discovery with buyers, developers, and evaluators.
- Establish POC and evaluation standards, including clear technical and business success criteria.
- Provide architecture guidance for the most common customer patterns and define technical handoffs across pre-sales and post-sales.
- Ensure escalation readiness by turning what is learned from individual customer issues into reusable guidance.
- Build and run technical certifications, keeping them current as the platform changes rapidly underneath.
- Lead technical readiness for launches, partnering with Product and PMM so technical teams are ready before GA.
- Turn subject matter expertise into scalable enablement, pulling information from Product, PMM, and field technologists into repeatable assets.
- Partner with Sales Enablement where the sale turns technical, including technical discovery, evaluation strategy, competitive differentiation, and solution positioning.
- Operate AI-first, building the tools, agents, and workflows that let a small enablement function serve a growing technical organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years in technical, customer-facing roles such as solutions engineering, solutions architecture, customer success engineering, technical account management, implementation, or forward-deployed work.
- Real time spent building enablement for technical teams, not just delivering it.
- Hands-on fluency with APIs, SDKs, integrations, and developer workflows, with the ability to run a live demo, read a customer's integration, troubleshoot L1-style issues, and hold a genuine architecture conversation.
- Experience building onboarding, certification, or technical development programs that people actually finished.
- Demonstrated ability to get content out of subject matter experts who have no time and ship anyway.
- Something built, such as a tool, agent, script, or workflow, that permanently eliminated recurring work.
- An AI-native operating model with specific workflows that structurally depend on AI.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with speech recognition, TTS, voice agents, LLM orchestration, or other developer-first API products.
- Experience enabling both pre-sales and post-sales technical roles, and a point of view on how they differ.
- Working fluency with scripting or agent building such as Python, TypeScript, workflow tools, agent frameworks, or equivalent.
- Strong writing and narrative skills, especially for turning complex technical concepts into clear, usable field guidance.
