About the role
- The Technical Project Manager will lead tactical and strategic projects supporting Betsson’s long-term technology transformation.
- This role involves translating technical details for stakeholders while leading technology experts to ensure projects align with business requirements.
- The project manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes and objectives involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
- Provide visibility for requirements, scope, objectives, deliverables, financial impact, and resourcing.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
- Monitor and report project progress.
- Facilitate team meetings including kick-offs, status updates, and weekly catchups.
Requirements
- Ability to drive through ambiguous and complex situations.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project and JIRA.
- Solid IT technical background.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong people management skills.
- Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
Preferred qualifications
- Recognized certification in project management such as Prince or Sigma.
