Patreon is seeking a Contract Technical Sourcer to support the recruiting team in identifying and engaging talent for Engineering, Product, and Design roles.
This is a part-time, 20-hour per week contract position that focuses on building diverse talent pipelines and partnering with technical leadership.

Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical leadership to define and run sourcing strategy for Engineering, Product, and Design roles.
Run intake conversations to understand technical needs and translate them into target profiles.
Proactively identify and engage passive talent through LinkedIn, GitHub, open-source communities, technical forums, and conferences.
Write personalized outreach to in-demand candidates and refine messaging based on performance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates in the early stages of the process.
Build and maintain talent pipelines and pools ahead of demand.
Develop sourcing strategies to expand reach and bring in diverse slates of candidates.
Track and report on pipeline health and funnel metrics to improve sourcing processes.
Identify bottlenecks and test new approaches to improve early-stage recruiting processes.
Maintain accurate candidate data and activity in the applicant tracking system.

3+ years of experience sourcing for technical roles at high-growth technology companies or startups.
Strong understanding of the technical landscape, including roles, stacks, and levels.
Hands-on experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and social media.
Experience with an applicant tracking system.
Track record of crafting creative, data-informed sourcing strategies.
Excellent written communication skills.
Ability to partner with recruiters and senior technical stakeholders to influence hiring strategy.
Strong organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple searches.
Ability to embrace change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for the creator economy.

Role is remote or based in New York or San Francisco.
Hybrid work model available for those in office locations, requiring 3 days per week in-office.
Remote-eligible roles do not have the same in-office requirements.
