About ElevenLabs

  • ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company transforming how we interact with technology.
  • We launched in January 2023 with the first human-like AI voice model. Today, we serve millions of users and thousands of businesses - from fast-growing startups to large enterprises like Deutsche Telekom and Meta. Our investors are some of the world's most prominent, including Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ Growth and Sequoia. We've raised $781M in funding and our last valuation was $22B - multiples of 11, always.
  • We have expanded from voice into three main platforms:
  • - ElevenAgents enables businesses to deliver seamless and intelligent customer experiences, with the integrations, testing, monitoring, and reliability necessary to deploy voice and chat agents at scale.
  • - ElevenCreative empowers creators and marketers to generate and edit speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages.
  • - ElevenAPI gives developers access to our leading AI audio foundational models.

About the role

  • ElevenLabs is looking for a Value Strategist to help our customers identify, quantify, and realize the business value of ElevenLabs across our portfolio, with a primary focus on ElevenAgents.
  • This is a senior individual contributor role within our global Revenue organization, spanning the full customer lifecycle from early sales conversations through proof of concept, deployment, renewal, and expansion.
  • You will define how ElevenLabs understands, measures, and communicates customer value globally.

Responsibilities

  • Shape value from the beginning by partnering with Revenue teams and prospects early in the sales cycle to understand customer priorities, identify high-value opportunities, and establish the business case for investing in ElevenLabs.
  • Build our global value strategy by developing the frameworks, benchmarks, calculators, discovery approaches, and playbooks that define how ElevenLabs approaches value across industries and use cases.
  • Scale what works by turning bespoke work with our largest customers into repeatable approaches that enable our Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Commercial teams to articulate and measure value.
  • Develop a deep understanding of a customer's business, workflows, economics, and strategic priorities to determine which use cases have the greatest potential and why.
  • Quantify the opportunity by building rigorous financial and operational models that translate ElevenLabs use cases into measurable outcomes across revenue, cost, productivity, customer experience, and other relevant dimensions.
  • Define how value will be proven by establishing success metrics and measurement approaches for proofs of concept and deployments.
  • Measure value realization by partnering with customers and internal teams after deployment to understand the impact ElevenLabs is delivering, identify gaps, and determine additional opportunities.
  • Support expansion and long-term customer value by using insights from existing deployments to help customers understand what they have achieved and identify where ElevenLabs can drive additional impact.
  • Work directly with the data to analyze customer and industry data, build models, pressure-test assumptions, and develop recommendations yourself.
  • Partner with Deployment on strategic accounts to work alongside Deployment Strategists, contributing methodology and capturing what works into reusable assets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience across operating roles, strategy, management consulting, analytics, finance, customer strategy, or other roles requiring rigorous business problem solving.
  • Strong operating judgment to understand how businesses work and quickly get underneath a customer's operating model, workflows, economics, and strategic priorities.
  • Exceptional analytical ability to personally build sophisticated financial and operational models, work with incomplete or imperfect information, and turn analysis into decisions.
  • Structured problem solving with the ability to start with an ambiguous question and develop a rigorous approach to answering it.
  • Customer credibility to work directly with customers across functions and levels, ask incisive questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and establish trust quickly.
  • Commercial judgment to understand how business value connects to technology investment decisions and partner closely with Revenue teams.
  • Excellent communication to distill complex analysis into a clear point of view and communicate it effectively in writing and verbally.
  • A builder mentality to start by doing the work yourself, learn from customers, and turn what works into scalable methodologies and tools.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and pace to move quickly across industries, customer types, and use cases while maintaining a high bar for analytical rigor.
  • Ability to operate globally and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in strategy or management consulting, particularly in operational transformation, technology, customer experience, or growth.
  • Experience as an operator within a technology company or other fast-moving business.
  • Experience working on AI, automation, customer experience, or technology-enabled business transformation.
  • Experience developing business cases, value frameworks, or analytical methodologies that were ultimately scaled beyond an individual project or customer.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers on complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Benefits

  • Annual discretionary professional development stipend
  • Annual discretionary social travel stipend
  • Annual company offsite in a new location
  • Monthly co-working stipend

Workplace

  • The role can be based in San Francisco or remotely, with the option to work from the San Francisco office.
