About the role
- Zscaler is looking for an Account Executive to join the commercial sales team on a hybrid basis in Chennai.
- This role involves demonstrating the power and agility of cloud transformation while nurturing trusted partnerships to achieve shared success.
Responsibilities
- Understand and solve customer pain points through our unique value proposition while educating key decision-makers on inspiring technology
- Act as the GM of your business by creating strategic success plans that include coverage, target prospects, and marketing campaigns
- Implement world-class sales methodologies to consistently overachieve on quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to ensure the delivery of both business and technical value
- Partner with the channel ecosystem to create joint plans, build pipeline, and lead opportunities to closure
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
- 8+ years of sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting revenue quotas
- 4+ years selling specifically to the commercial segment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
- Progressive selling experience engaging with accounts and building relationships at the C-level
- Experience working with channel partners to create joint plans and lead opportunities to closure
Preferred qualifications
- Experience demonstrating the business value of AI-driven security architectures or leveraging AI productivity platforms to optimize commercial sales pipelines
- Experience selling security, SaaS, or software solutions
- A history of career over-achievement, consistently ranking in the top 10% of your organization
