About the role
- Paytm is looking for energetic and self-driven professionals to join the Offline User Growth Team.
- The role involves identifying growth opportunities across the city, building relationships with merchants, businesses, institutions, and communities, and driving on-ground user acquisition initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Visit markets, shops, restaurants, cafés, retail outlets and other high-footfall locations to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and manage partnerships with regional/local brands and businesses.
- Identify and develop corporate, college, institutional and community partnerships.
- Engage with merchants, customers and local communities to understand market needs and provide relevant feedback.
- Identify new opportunities for user acquisition, brand visibility and local marketing initiatives.
- Support execution of merchant programmes, college activities, community initiatives and other local campaigns.
- Work closely with internal teams to take identified opportunities from initiation to closure.
- Maintain regular tracking of visits, opportunities, partnerships and execution.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of the local market/city.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with extensive field work and meeting different stakeholders.
- Ability to independently identify opportunities and follow up consistently.
- Good command of the local language.
