About the role
- The Data Analytics Manager serves as a Snowflake Architect within the Data Solutions practice, leading pre-sales, scoping, design, and delivery of modern analytics solutions. This role involves hands-on architecture work while providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members across multiple client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Snowflake solution architecture including data modelling, warehouse sizing, and security design.
- Lead the data engineering lifecycle from research and POCs to deployment and maintenance.
- Design and build POCs for modern analytics stacks for prospective clients.
- Translate client business needs into technical solution designs and actionable recommendations.
- Manage day-to-day technical relationships with client stakeholders.
- Lead technical workstreams in pre-sales including estimation, scoping, and proposal defense.
- Partner with other practices on cross-functional solution plays.
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior technical resources.
- Provide technical oversight and support to team members across multiple concurrent engagements.
- Review deliverables and unblock technical issues for junior staff.
Requirements
- 8+ years in business intelligence/analytics solution delivery.
- 4+ years hands-on Snowflake development and architecture experience.
- SnowPro Core certification.
- Strong SQL development skills including advanced analytic functions and query performance tuning.
- Knowledge of BI and analytics tools such as Sigma, Looker, Omni, or Power BI.
- 3+ years of consulting/project-based delivery experience (SDLC, Agile/Kanban/DevOps).
- Experience writing business requirements, use cases, user stories, and functional test cases.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a technical team.
- Proven ability to lead client conversations and present architecture decisions to stakeholders.
