About the role
- IXL Learning is seeking an Implementation Specialist to join the Professional Learning team and support mid-size districts in the Midwest.
- As an Implementation Specialist, you will partner with educators to transform teaching and learning by sharing practical strategies, delivering professional development, leading data reviews, and supporting strategic planning.
- This is a full-time remote position for candidates living in Chicago, Illinois, with regional travel required.
Responsibilities
- Partner with district leaders to provide implementation support to mid-size districts
- Collaborate with school and district partners to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful IXL implementation
- Travel regionally to support assigned districts, including facilitating in-person professional development and conducting quarterly visits
- Deliver high-quality live and virtual professional development sessions to drive engagement and usage of IXL
- Analyze and use data to drive decision-making and strategize next steps
- Partner with the Sales team to effectively manage and grow customer relationships, including supporting districts piloting IXL and other pre-sales opportunities
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years of experience teaching in a K-12 setting
- 2+ years of experience providing professional development
- Exceptional presentation skills, comfortable presenting to teachers and administrators
- Excellent interpersonal skills—dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
- Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
- Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology
- Strategic thinker and problem-solver
- Must live close to a major airport
Preferred qualifications
- Instructional coaching, school leadership, or edtech PD experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting district implementations strongly preferred
