About the role
- The Launch Producer leads creative delivery for Research-led launches, managing the process from initial brief through production and release.
- This role involves partnering with Research, Product, and Marketing teams to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling creative assets.
- The producer owns the production plan, manages external partners and budgets, and ensures accuracy across all launch materials.
Responsibilities
- Build close working relationships with Researchers and technical product partners.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to turn launch priorities into clear briefs, deliverables, and production scopes.
- Own work from creative development through final handoff, setting milestones and tracking dependencies.
- Produce integrated launch assets across design, motion, film, demos, web, and social.
- Manage production resources, external partners, scopes, estimates, budgets, and vendor deliverables.
- Lead reviews with technical, legal, policy, and creative owners to turn feedback into clear actions.
- Ensure changes to model names, claims, demos, and product behavior are reflected across assets.
- Plan versioning and localization with channel and regional partners.
- Oversee asset QA, specifications, and final handoffs.
- Close out production, capture lessons, and improve repeatable workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience producing complex creative work for technology or research-driven launches.
- Hands-on responsibility from briefing and scoping through production and delivery.
- Deep technical curiosity and ability to build context quickly with researchers and engineers.
- Fluency and confidence with AI tools and workflows used in creative production.
- Understanding of design, motion, film, and digital production to scope work and anticipate dependencies.
- Experience managing production partners, budgets, schedules, and delivery requirements across concurrent workstreams.
- Ability to communicate clearly, build trust across disciplines, and make tradeoffs visible.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing inputs and compressed timelines.
- Exercise discretion with unreleased research, launch plans, and proprietary information.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working directly with AI researchers.
- Experience producing model launches, technical demonstrations, or scientific storytelling.
- Experience delivering localized creative across markets.
- Experience coordinating rights, approvals, and asset versioning.
Workplace
- Based in San Francisco, CA.
- Hybrid work model of three days in the office per week.
- Occasional travel will be required.
