About the role
- The Paid Advertising Strategist owns the execution, performance, and growth of campaigns within their book of business. They work alongside account leadership to develop and evolve strategies while managing reporting, optimizations, and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Full ownership and execution of performance marketing via paid social and paid media native platforms
- Execute builds and production with 100% on-time delivery
- Lead execution of optimizations to improve performance relative to goals
- Manage client budgets and advise on budget changes with accurate pacing
- Perform quality assurance to prevent errors impacting client revenue
- Lead proactive strategy recommendations and surface opportunities or risks
- Maintain client testing roadmaps and manage experimentation cadences
- Own strategic communication internally and provide weekly client progress recaps
- Leverage data to articulate results and next steps to stakeholders
- Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
Requirements
- 2-3 years of digital marketing experience
- 1-2 years of experience in an agency setting
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with at least 2 paid advertising channels
- Experience with campaign development and optimization processes
- Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Google Analytics
- Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Confident with client-facing presentations
