About the role
- The Partner Engagement Manager serves as a trusted technical partner and subject-matter expert for customers, maintaining power-user-level fluency in the Onebrief platform.
- This role bridges the technical gap between engineering and the customer, delivering training and driving adoption of new capabilities within military planning workflows.
- The position acts as the primary line of communication between the customer and Onebrief, ensuring product evolution aligns with specific operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Clearly communicate user needs to the product team and maintain high product proficiency.
- Understand, request, and effectively leverage company resources to meet goals.
- Lead or support exercises.
- Recommend product improvements based on user observations.
- Identify gaps in directorate workflows and drive adoption through configuration, coaching, and optimization.
- Coordinate with customers and product engineering teams when responding to incidents.
- Align team efforts to deliver a positive customer experience while coordinating with other Partner Engagement Managers.
- Enable expansion and upsell opportunities to Allies and Partners by instilling the Onebrief value proposition.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading operational planning within a military context, preferably at multi-star headquarters.
- Exposure to large staff planning through Professional Military Education or service experience.
- Familiarity with major military planning exercises and protocols for software deployment on classified networks.
- Proven ability to expand business presence within a customer location with emphasis on software or technology solutions.
- Experience in customer support, both face-to-face and remote.
- Strong technical skills to master the application, troubleshoot issues, and liaise on technical matters.
- Proven ability to navigate large government organizations and solve bureaucratic challenges.
- Current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
- Ability to access DOD facilities and installations.
