About the role
- We’re looking for a People Operations Intern to join our team during an exciting phase of growth.
- In this role, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to core People Operations function and mentorship from experienced HR professionals.
- You’ll receive insight into onboarding, employee relations, internal communications, and HR systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist with new hire onboarding end-to-end, including paperwork, welcome materials, orientation scheduling, and first-week check-ins
- Help build and refine onboarding resources (guides, checklists, welcome kits) to create a smoother experience for new employees
- Support employee engagement by helping plan and execute activities, events, and recognition programs
- Assist with gathering and analyzing employee feedback (surveys, pulse checks) to help identify ways to improve the employee experience
- Draft and distribute internal communications, including company announcements, newsletters, and policy updates
- Help create and update POps templates, process documents, and internal resource pages
- Lead or contribute to special projects related to culture-building, process improvement, development, etc.
- Conduct research on HR best practices or compliance topics as needed
- Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets especially)
- A proactive, collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn
Preferred qualifications
- Prior internship or coursework in HR is a plus, but not required
