About the role
- We are seeking a Pricing analyst to join our team, responsible for understanding business processes through data analysis and driving business impact across the organization.
- You will play a crucial role in helping teams make data-driven pricing decisions and improving overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Understanding our business and its processes through our data
- Applying this understanding and knowledge of data to help our marketing, sales and product teams drive business impact
- Assisting teams with answering questions with data
- Working with stakeholders to clarify and understand the potential problems at hand and business objectives they’re looking to achieve
- Extracting relevant data points from our various data sets
- Analyzing and identifying statistically significant trends or insights that could help drive improvements
- Preparing and communicating your findings which best help users most easily understand the findings
- Building reports and visualizations that allow teams to monitor key KPIs and objectives
- Creating and managing documentation on projects, recurring tasks and findings, and building a library of internal knowledge
Requirements
- You have 2+ years experience as a data/business analyst or similar working with sizable data sets
- You have solid knowledge of undergraduate statistics: distributions, uncertainty, biases, hypothesis testing, etc
- You are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
- You have the proven ability to communicate findings visually with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or similar
- You are highly organized with the ability to work independently
- You have basic-to-Intermediate SQL knowledge
- You have experience working in a SAAS environment
