As a Product Designer on the Sail team, you will contribute to the visual and interaction foundations of Stripe’s products.
You will work on scoped components, patterns, guidance, and tools to help product teams create coherent, accessible, and high-quality experiences.

Design and refine user interface components, patterns, and foundations for use across Stripe products
Create polished, coherent interfaces across interaction states, themes, and responsive layouts
Partner with front-end engineers to understand constraints and carry designs into production
Contribute to Figma libraries, prototypes, specifications, documentation, and examples
Gather input from product teams, share work, and iterate based on feedback

2+ years of experience designing digital products
A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design craft
Experience using or contributing to a design system or component library
Experience working with front-end engineers
Working understanding of components, states, and responsive behavior
Experience using artificial intelligence tools in day-to-day design work, with familiarity with large language models, agents, and reusable skills or workflows

Experience creating or maintaining user interface components or shared design libraries
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
Experience using artificial intelligence and prototyping tools to build and evaluate interactive interfaces
Experience designing native mobile interfaces for iOS or Android
