About Anthropic
- Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
- Anthropic is looking for a Recruiter to join the Talent team based in London to own full-cycle recruiting of G&A functions across EMEA.
- This is a full-cycle individual-contributor role responsible for sourcing, screening, managing stakeholders, and closing.
- You will partner with hiring managers across EMEA to understand needs, build healthy pipelines, and deliver a candidate experience reflecting company values.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for a portfolio of G&A roles across EMEA—from intake through offer and close
- Partner with hiring managers to scope roles, calibrate the bar, and build effective sourcing strategies
- Source and engage high-quality active and passive candidates, building diverse and competitive pipelines
- Run structured, rigorous, and candidate-centric interview processes that uphold Anthropic’s hiring bar
- Manage candidates through the process with clear communication and a great experience at every stage
- Collaborate with the broader Talent team, People Partners, and Compensation to structure offers and guide candidates to close
- Use data to track pipeline health and share insight that helps hiring managers make good decisions
Requirements
- 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in G&A (Policy, Finance, Legal, People) with a focus on Policy hiring
- Demonstrated ability to recruit in the UK and European market, with familiarity with local talent dynamics and employment norms
- Track record of strong stakeholder partnership — building trust quickly with hiring managers in fast-moving environments
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity: willing to flex between functions and contribute to building something new rather than running an established playbook
- Proven ability to maintain quality under volume pressure — owns pipeline health, not just pipeline size
- Self-starter who can work with significant autonomy while staying tightly aligned with global strategy
- Genuine connection to Anthropic's mission and an understanding of why it matters in a recruiting context
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- A field of study relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Preferred qualifications
- Experience recruiting at a high-growth technology, AI, or machine learning company
- Experience recruiting across both G&A and GTM functions
- Experience hiring across multiple EMEA markets, including the UK and Ireland
- Familiarity with Greenhouse or similar ATS platforms
- Additional European language skills relevant to hiring across the region
Benefits
- Competitive compensation
- Optional equity donation matching
- Generous vacation
- Parental leave
- Flexible working hours
Workplace
- Location-based hybrid policy: staff are expected to be in the office at least 25% of the time, though some roles may require more time in offices
