About the role
- The RMA DC Operator 1 will support the outbound shipping team and inbound receiving team by ensuring complete orders are shipped and delivered in a timely manner.
- This onsite role requires tracking, checking, prioritizing, and routing orders using software while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders
- Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
- Verify orders picked to ensure quantities and items are correct
- Ensure all required documentation properly affixed to shipments, such as packing slips, bills of lading, etc.
- Inspect label, barcodes and other features of completed orders
- Coordinate outbound shipments for pick-up with UPS or freight carriers as assigned
- Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies – Dangerous Goods experience is required
- Receive daily deliveries from carriers of RMA returns
- Transfer material throughout the department to the correct processing station
- Document discrepancies of receivables
Requirements
- Previous shipping experience
- Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving abilities
- Able to operate a forklift safely
- Dangerous Goods experience is required
