About the role
- We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role based in the UK, reporting to the Senior Sales Engineering Manager in the Solutions Consulting department.
- You will act as a key technical driver, presenting the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers and translating their goals into relevant recommendations.
- As a trusted advisor, you will guide clients through their transformational journey while delivering technical victories.
Responsibilities
- Present the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers
- Set the vision and translate goals into enticing and relevant recommendations
- Become the trusted advisor to our clients while aiding their transformational journey
- Gather customer technical requirements and promote the value proposition in POV, presentations, and demos
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator
- Deep knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies
- Proficiency with Value Selling Methodologies
- Proven experience partnering with sales to deliver high-impact presentations, demos, and proof of concept engagements
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
Preferred qualifications
- Demonstrate strong AI fluency by leveraging coding assistants, LLMs, and Generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, solution design, automation, and customer problem-solving
- Practical experience architecting or demonstrating AI-enhanced cybersecurity platforms, automated threat response tools, or machine learning-driven network analytics
- Cloud Platform certifications or other relevant credentials such as CISSP or CCNP
- Subject matter expertise in SASE, Proxy technology, Cybersecurity, IPS, DLP, CASB, or CNAPP
