About the role
- Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to solve complex customer problems and drive large sales deals.
- The role involves working with sales teams and channel partners to demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology through demos and proof of concepts.
- The position requires a balance of business acumen and technical expertise to engage with both executive and technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors.
- Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle.
- Support enterprise Proof of Concepts.
- Assist with design and implementation strategies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and marketing.
- Handle sensitive data in accordance with company confidentiality and security standards.
Requirements
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology.
- Experience with ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Python.
- Understanding of AI/ML principles and best practices.
- Ability to connect customer business problems to Snowflake solutions.
Preferred qualifications
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience
