About the role
- The Senior Technical SEO Specialist will lead the end-to-end technical SEO program, focusing on site health, architecture, and international SEO.
- This role involves using AI-assisted workflows to prioritize technical fixes and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve search performance and conversion.
- The specialist will act as a core stakeholder in the technical structure of the web presence, ensuring pages are crawled, understood, and ranked effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution for the technical SEO program, conducting recurring audits on crawlability, indexation, rendering, and structured data.
- Improve and utilize AI-assisted workflows to turn performance data into a prioritized list of technical fixes.
- Identify and resolve content cannibalization and duplication issues.
- Partner with Web Engineering to resolve site errors and performance issues on key templates.
- Optimize high-intent product, solution, and industry pages for non-brand search rankings.
- Improve information architecture, navigation, and internal linking to capture long-tail demand.
- Drive international SEO strategy, including hreflang, regional sitemaps, and localized templates.
- Define technical SEO requirements for new templates and page types.
- Provide SEO QA for site launches, migrations, and redesigns.
- Translate technical findings into engineering-ready requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical SEO experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or complex, multi-template environments.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Deep expertise in crawling, indexation, JavaScript SEO, sitemaps, canonicals, redirects, hreflang, and internal linking.
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, performance, and mobile UX.
- Experience scaling information architecture across category, product, and international pages.
- Proficiency in schema.org/JSON-LD implementation and validation.
- Proven experience partnering with web and engineering teams to deliver technical fixes.
- Experience applying AI or agentic workflows to automate SEO audits.
- Strong analytical skills with large crawl and search datasets.
- Proficiency in Google Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog, log analyzers, and web analytics.
