About the role
- Tavus is seeking a proactive and resourceful Solutions Engineer to support both Sales and Customer Success teams in helping customers transform early excitement into fully realized solutions.
- In this role, you will facilitate in-depth technical conversations with developers and decision-makers, ensure smooth solution design and integration, and collaborate on technical implementation, customization, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Understand how our product works on a deep technical level so you can support customers
- Work with customers to ideate and architect a solution that works with their business
- Debug API requests, troubleshoot production issues, and provide clear, actionable solutions for customers
- Spot patterns in issues, improve docs, and work with engineering to fix problems at the root (or, just do it yourself)
- Create developer resources, like sample code, etc
- Aim for near-zero time to resolution and build a faster path forward
- Automate, document, and streamline processes so future users never hit the same roadblocks twice
- Help enterprise teams understand best practices for integrating and scaling with our platform
Requirements
- Strong dev experience or the scrappiness to trick us into thinking you have strong dev experience, with the ability to build, deploy, and debug an end-to-end application
- Great at handling multiple clients, projects, and issues at once without letting anything slip through the cracks
- A "customer-obsessed" mindset with a deep care for the developer experience and pride in solving problems fast
- Ability to translate highly technical issues into simple, clear explanations
- A scrappy, solution-driven approach to fixing what is broken
- Comfortable working in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar
- Comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and debugging complex technical integrations

- Experience working with AI/ML models or video processing APIs
