About the role
- The Sr Manager, Program Management acts as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external partners to drive projects from planning through implementation.
- This role focuses on Sales, Finance, and Operations to identify process improvements and system enhancements that support TEGNA's business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions and validating functional specifications.
- Collaborate with business partners to improve processes through technology changes.
- Identify system gaps for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Define project requirements, milestones, and phases.
- Coordinate with project teams and support project budget tracking.
- Manage project progress by tracking activity and resolving problems.
- Publish progress reports and recommend actions to keep work on track.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and other business partners to evaluate user needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external technology partners.
Requirements
- Media Industry Experience.
- Experience leading, documenting, and implementing process changes.
- Strong communication, documentation, and relationship development skills.
- Ability to drive projects from planning through implementation.
- Ability to efficiently execute own work while managing competing priorities.
