About the role
- As the Sr. Product Operations Manager I for VR International at Axon, you will be the key operational partner to the in-market International VR GTM Lead, building the operational foundation that lets the company expand with confidence.
- This role involves putting the right structure and processes in place so each market has what it needs, including localized content, quotes, price books, inventory, trained teams, Trial and Evaluation kits, and standard operating procedures.
- Your work will turn international VR from a series of one-off launches into a repeatable, scalable motion that helps bring Axon's mission to agencies around the world.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the international operations playbook, SOPs, and launch checklists, adapting what works in the US and Canada to each region and building on Business Operations' framework.
- Run the day-to-day operations of international launches in line with the International VR GTM Lead's priorities, making sure pre-sales teams, post-sales teams, and hardware delivery are ready to sell and serve in each market.
- Coordinate the compliance and certification work each country requires with Legal and Compliance, and share status and risks to support launch decisions.
- Help define, implement, and scale the international T&E program, partnering with in-market trial managers and Product Operations.
- Enable international Professional Services and Training teams as the product evolves, and support our partner strategy as we enter new markets.
- Support the process for localizing help content with localization vendors, in line with international market prioritization.
- Own the review and management of international quotes to confirm we only sell where we are cleared to, quotes are complete, and customers are set up for success.
- Support Proposals on international tenders, and partner with Supply Chain and Regional Operations on demand, inventory in local warehouses, regional priorities, and country-specific logistics and import requirements.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed, approximately 1 to 2 weeks per quarter, to support markets, partners, and the team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product operations, program management, or international product launches.
- Experience supporting product launches in international markets, ideally across more than one region.
- Strong program management skills, including managing dependencies, milestones, and risks across teams such as Sales, Supply Chain, Legal, and Training, and communicating status clearly to all levels.
- Experience building or improving repeatable processes that other teams rely on, with comfort working through ambiguity and adjusting as you learn from each market.
- Familiarity with how sales operations and commercial systems work, and experience using data to track operational performance and recommend improvements.
- Comfort working independently with teams across regions and time zones, including occasional early-morning or late-evening calls with international partners.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field
- A second language (professional proficiency in a language that supports international markets)
