About the role
- Paytm is hiring a Village Facilitator for a 6-month contractual project under the Paytm Smart Village Abhiyan project by Paytm Foundation in Aligarh District, Uttar Pradesh.
Responsibilities
- Support in mobilising farmers, women/SHGs, youth, and other beneficiaries.
- Support beneficiary identification and participation.
- Support in planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities.
- Support awareness camps and digital & financial literacy sessions.
- Provide on-ground handholding and support to beneficiaries.
- Support in coordination with District Administration, Panchayat, community leaders, SHGs, and all other relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- Maintain beneficiary and activity records and collect photographs/other supporting documents.
Preferred qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline
- Experience in rural/community development
- Good communication and community mobilisation skills
- Familiarity with local communities and Government welfare schemes
- Ability to conduct field activities, maintain records, and collect beneficiary data
- Willingness to undertake regular field visits and engage with villagers
- Good existing relationship with village, block and district authorities
