About Fieldguide

  • Fieldguide is establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets through automating and streamlining the work of assurance and audit practitioners specifically within cybersecurity, privacy, and financial audit. Put simply, we build software for the people who enable trust between businesses.
  • We’re based in San Francisco, CA, but built as a remote-first company that enables you to do your best work from anywhere. We're backed by top investors including Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Floodgate, Y Combinator, DNX Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Justin Kan, Elad Gil, and more.
  • We value diversity — in backgrounds and in experiences. We need people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help build the future of audit and advisory. Fieldguide’s team is inclusive, driven, humble and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we are building, seeking teammates that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other's growth.
  • As an early stage start-up employee, you’ll have the opportunity to build out the future of business trust. We make audit practitioners’ lives easier by bringing together up to 50% of their work and giving them better work-life balance. If you share our values and enthusiasm for building a great culture and product, you will find a home at Fieldguide.

About the role

  • As an Implementation Analyst at Fieldguide, you will be an integral member of our go-to-market team, working directly alongside Implementation Consultants and the broader Go-To-Market organization to drive successful customer adoption of our platform.
  • Reporting to our Director of Implementation, you will play a hands-on role in onboarding customers onto Fieldguide—configuring their environments, migrating their data, and ensuring every detail is right so customers can realize value quickly.
  • This is an early-career role designed as a launchpad into implementation consulting, growing into an Implementation Consultant position with increasing ownership of the end-to-end customer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Set customers up for success by configuring customer environments—including engagement templates, user roles, and permissions—to ensure a smooth day-one experience.
  • Own data migration by executing data migration and setup tasks (e.g., importing trial balances, control matrices, mapping fields, validating configurations) so customers can go live on schedule.
  • Turn requirements into reality by translating documented requirements into system configurations under the guidance of senior implementation team members.
  • Leverage vibe coding agents to build and use AI-powered "vibe coding" agents to accelerate configuration tasks, automate repetitive setup work, and prototype solutions quickly.
  • Be the quality gatekeeper by performing quality assurance checks to ensure setups meet client specifications and internal best practices before anything reaches the customer.
  • Drive issues to resolution by supporting testing cycles, documenting issues clearly, and coordinating fixes with internal teams (Support, Product, Engineering) to keep implementations on track.
  • Support seamless go-lives by assisting with go-live preparation—including final configuration reviews, documentation updates, and post-launch support—to help customers cross the finish line with confidence.
  • Build client exposure by joining customer calls alongside senior consultants to observe client interactions and progressively take on direct client communication as you develop.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in technology consulting, customer onboarding, implementation, or similar, at a top management consulting firm or high-growth startup, with familiarity manipulating, transforming, and translating data between systems or formats.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially when working across repetitive or manual configuration tasks.
  • An analytical mindset with comfort working with AI agents, spreadsheets, structured data, and systems.
  • Take ownership of assigned workstreams and drive them to completion, proactively flagging blockers and proposing solutions.
  • A team player and mission-first mindset.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, follow documented processes, and ask thoughtful clarifying questions when something isn't right.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing SaaS environment with multiple concurrent projects.
  • A genuine interest in audit, risk advisory, or professional services.
