About the role
- SoFi's Marketing Team is seeking a Senior Director of Affiliate Marketing to provide strategy, vision, and direction for our Affiliate Partnerships business.
- This role is a critical leadership position directly responsible for our Lending and Banking verticals, setting the strategy and directly managing a structured team of seasoned Affiliate professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategy and direction for Lending and Banking areas of our business, driving the overall performance of the Department.
- Fully responsible for finalizing business forecasts, test & learn strategies, and identifying new opportunities to meet our goals.
- Lead strategic conversations and complex negotiations with senior leadership at external partners focusing on high-impact decisions critical to long-term vision.
- Nurture, develop, and attract talent, including coaching a team of seasoned practitioners.
- Drive complex initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups to drive business results and forge alignment on business outcomes.
- Anticipate factors that could impact outcomes of established strategies and solve abstract challenges across the Business/Function.
Requirements
- Total Experience: 15+ years of related experience (or 12+ years with a Master’s degree).
- 10+ years of performance marketing, with a minimum of 5+ years in affiliate and a focus on Financial Services and Lending and/or Banking products
- Proven track record of managing high performing teams including senior managers and other people managers.
- Expert understanding of affiliate marketing platforms (Impact, Tableau, Snowflake), affiliate capabilities (Hosted Models, APIs, Lead Gen platforms) and how they fit within the competitive environment.
- Deep responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations as they pertain to lending, banking, and affiliate marketing.
