About the role
- The Strategic Events Marketing Manager will support end-to-end production planning for Samsara's annual customer conference, global programs, and other hosted events.
- This role involves managing relationships with production vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality live event experiences.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate keynote and breakout planning and execution across internal stakeholders, production vendors, and venue partners.
- Support content production by building timelines and scheduling rehearsals.
- Source vehicles and equipment for event needs.
- Manage executive schedules and internal/external speakers.
- Review venue contracts to ensure production requirements are met.
- Assist in managing expo production needs.
- Oversee multiple events and programs with overlapping schedules.
- Bring energy, creativity, and new ideas to build successful event experiences.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in event management/production.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Must be open to traveling 30% of the time.
- Experience using AI tools to work more efficiently.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and budget-management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
